LoLo American Kitchen & Craft Bar Hudson

Updated: Went here with my family and waited an hour to get our food. The place was very loud. We used to think this restaurant was great, but today was a disappointment. The first time we tried the smashed burger, it was soggy — but we thought that was because we ordered it to-go and ate it at home. Today, we ordered it again at the restaurant, and it was even worse. The bun was extremely soggy and soaking wet, and the meat crumbled into ground beef. I’m not sure how they’re making the patties, but they were terrible. The flavor was awful because it was drowned in sauce. The corn mesquite was plain and lacked salt, pepper, and cotija cheese. The wings were really good — probably the only thing worth ordering. One of my favorites. If you’re in the Hudson area. You definitely cannot go wrong with Lolo. Every time I go there. I try and branch out and try something new, but I always stick to my reliable chicken tacos with brussels sprouts and my wife gets a rice bowl. I’m telling you. It’s a 10 out to 10. And the drinks are super good. They definitely know what they’re doing here.

This place punches above its weight. The food menu has regular-looking items that are enhanced in beautiful ways. I've never had a mushroom and swiss cheese burger that is comparable to the one I had here! It was out of this world, with wild mushrooms sauteed just right. They have rice bowls like Korean beef and KungPao chicken, that are not just innovative but mouth-watering. The prices are pretty reasonable for the kind of food on offer. It takes about the same for two people to get drinks and food at any decent place in the Twin Cities, and the food won't be half as good.

Hudson Dog: slightly spicy and all the ingredients played well together. Absolutely delicious. Hanger Steak Sticky Rice Bowl: Delicious mix of sweet and sour with the pickled cucumbers and Korean BBQ steak. The Brussel sprouts add a nice crisp. Loved it. Lolo Margarita: Classic and delicious.
