Lola’s Boba Tea and More

I’m happy Arcadia got a boba tea spot!! It brings some much needed variety to our small town. 🧋🧋 Pros: Great customer service. Inside seating. Good prices. Plenty of options on the menu. Opportunity to substitute ingredients or customize a drink. Cons: Limited boba / popping pearl flavor options. Underwhelming consistency and taste of tapioca pearls (quality or maybe undercooked). Limited seating. A small spot so not much room for large groups. No outdoor seating just indoor. Probably more convenient to get a to-go order unless it’s not too busy then you can sit inside. 🍵 I have had boba tea and tapioca pearls in many states and at many different places. It was such a pretty place, I went to Arcadia for some returns and searched to see if there was any boba places near by and came across this place it had alot of options for drinks. I ordered the mango fruit tea with tapioca pearls and both of the snacks they offered. The drink was amazingly good and so refreshing. 10/10 would recommend to everyone 🥰

She was such a sweet heart. Asked what she recommended, she listed off some flavors based of preference and popularity. What caught my eye was the coconut cloud (10/10) in taro flavor. LOVED this, wasn’t too sweet, flavor was immaculate and not artificial tasting at all. Very calm and welcoming inside. Well made drink. I also ordered the spicy tuna onigiri. Never had one before and I’m not really a fan of tuna. Looked amazing so I ordered one. Amazing filling, enough kick to make it spicy but not overpowering. Good flavor too, well seasoned. Total was $9. Def recommend

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly, which immediately made me feel welcome. The shop has a really nice, cozy environment, perfect for sitting down to relax. Everything was spotless, from the tables to the counter and you can tell they put thought into their recipes! Overall, it’s such a refreshing spot with friendly service, great drinks, and a clean, pleasant atmosphere.

The tapioca pearls were inconsistent in texture. Some cooked well and some hard. And not enough ice, the drink was lukewarm. I wasn’t greeted when I walked in. While the two people working, were having a conversation with other customers, I’m assuming people they knew. I was completely ignored, not even welcomed in. Doesn’t matter if you know me or I’m just a new customer, or someone passing through. Service and how you greet customers matters. A simple greeting makes people feel welcomed and cuts the tension of just standing in the room, feeling out of place, waiting to be waited on. I’ve been to a lot of tea shops, and places like this are the main reason why I will drive to make a special trip to my favorite tea shop.
