La Michoacana Paleteria

Wow…better than ANY chain ice cream place ANYWHERE. ALL confections, ALL Ice Cream made on location. Specialty dessert creations galore. We drive 140 miles round trip from Okeechobee just to experience this amazing place.

I've come here twice and they've always been super friendly and fast! They take cash and card, have hot and cold foods, and many delicious treats to choose from. Restrooms are clean, the location is very colorful and cute! We have come after dark both times and wait time was minimal. Definitely a favorite spot for the kids and I!

Asked the girl who worked there twice if the popsicles contained dairy for my highly allergic 5 year old- she assured me it was dairy free. After he ate a few bites the manager came out from the back and said “well they have a little dairy in them” and took zero responsibility for what happened. He just smiled at me the whole time. If the employee wasn’t 100% sure she absolutely should have verified. Completely unacceptable for someone in the food business to handle allergies with such carelessness.

Bessstttt ABSOLUTELY BEST ice cream, milk shake shop anywhere!!! Any kind of cone you could image with any kind of ice cream you could dream of!! Mix & match as well! I had a chocolate strawberry and cream bowl & the prices are totally reasonable. with a "Try anything" before you buy approach!! Who doesn't LOVE SAMPLES?!!

They have such a diverse array of wonderful ice cream and other creations. They allow you to mix flavors, creating endless combinations! Extremely friendly staff as well
