Lokota's Empanadas

This place is pretty much self guided, we had to look for the menu ourselves so we can see the details of the empanadas, the service felt like they just wanted to sell and be out the door right away. The empanadas we tried were the pulled pork , spicy chicken and the Argentinian. Pork ones are not bad they could’ve been heated up a bit more. But in one of the spicy chicken ones we found a piece of metal, not sure if it was from a cleaning tool or what. But it is dangerous. We ended up throwing away the remaining.

Im Puerto Rican, when I seen empanadas in south jersey, tuckerton of all places. I had to stop and try them out. And I have to admit they are really freakin good, the flavors are hittin.

I stop in for an order often. They have quite possibly the most delicious empanadas that I have ever had. There are lots of different varieties, both traditional and ones I never heard of, all of which are delightful. Their dipping oil is a must-have.

New Argentinian empanada take out restaurant. Used to be a gas station convenient store. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Large selection of savory and sweet empanadas and some additional desserts as well. Fresh squeezed orange juice is also available. You can takeaway cold or they will heat up for you. I like that the name is printed on the empanada, so you know the correct one. Served with a chimmicurri style oil sauce. The spicy chicken was our favorite.

All of the empanadas were great and the staff was friendly. Was able to place my order and leave with my food in minutes!
