Locust Tree Bed & Breakfast

Took my daughter to race a Lime rock park and want something close but not too close. Locust tree is about 15 minutes away - perfect! Very clean, quite, and comfortable. Host was very friendly and informative. Will stay every time we come to Lime Rock. Thank you.

Heidi was very accommodating and helpful. She has an exquisitely remodeled late 18th century home with pairs of rooms that share baths. It is very clean & well kept. The beds are comfortable and there are a choice of firm or soft pillows.||She has a flock of chickens that provide VERY fresh eggs for breakfast.||We highly recommend Locust Tree Bed & Breakfast.|RA

This is not a good place to stay. The outside and inside needs some serious love, updating and cleaning. In our room: shade missing, light bulb missing, sluggish sink drain, uneven pressure and warmth in shower. I hate to say these kinds of things, but I booked this based on overall excellent rating and it is not excellent. Oh, and they have roosters, that NEVER stop crowing.

This spot is very cozy and we really enjoyed our brief stay here. The owners are very friendly and make a delicious, home style breakfast complete with eggs from their chickens. It’s on a main road but we couldn’t hear the traffic and we slept well. The rooms aren’t over the top in size or luxury, but it was comfortable and the shared bathroom wasn’t an issue at all as it was right across the hall and we never had to wait for other patrons in order to use it. Would return and recommend!

If you are looking for a decent, basic, inexpensive bed to sleep in overnight then it's just great. A group of us stayed in several rooms/bathroom combos over several days. None were even remotely clean, with deep dust and grime, cobwebs. The hosts seemed gruff but were pleasant in conversation. The outdoor porch was pleasant but again filthy furniture. This is a basic breakfast and we didn't leave hungry.Think coffee, eggs, bacon, toast (other options available) We were there for the location but not a destination spot.
