Local Spot

Great lunch at Local Spot nearby, it was recently renovated and updated. No wait, and fast service. The veggie/hummus platter was plentiful and the pickles seemed homemade. The 2 different hummus flavors contrasted well and paired well with the assorted veggies/pita. My smashburger for lunch was prepared well, and the seasoned fries were yummy! My drinks were well made and in my opinion, they were better than the drinks I had at Local Table.

As a new resident in Fulshear, I’ve been excited to try out some local spots, and I’m so glad I stopped by The Local Spot. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed — and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Victor behind the bar. Victor was incredibly attentive the entire time. He made sure I was taken care of without ever being overbearing, checked in at all the right moments, and went above and beyond to provide top-notch customer service. It’s rare to find someone who truly seems to enjoy making guests feel comfortable, but Victor absolutely does. As someone new to the area, that level of hospitality meant a lot. The food was great and service phenomenal! If I can make two tiny suggestion I would suggest the staff use tongs to get the sliced lemons out for the drinks instead of all of them using hands that haven’t been sanitized! Additionally make sure they know they shouldn’t touch the top of the straws when they put them in drinks. Grab the straws at the center!

We loved our dinner here! The music and atmosphere were great, and the food and drinks were even better! Our waiter Jaxson was so personable and very knowledgeable about the menu! The staff as a whole, including the manager Luis were absolutely wonderful! We will certainly be back!

Immediately greeted by the manager Luis. Who made us feel at home right away. Sat outside with the beautiful view. Even took a short walk when we were waiting for our food. When the food came… it was deeelish! Had the kids corn dogs and Italian sub. Super tasty. We ended it all with some donut holes to make the night extra sweet. Service of the highest quality, as always expected by a “Local” name. Impressed. Will definitely be back.
