What a fantastic restaurant!!! I went for my birthday based on their reviews because I love good food and energy and that is exactly what I got. Both owners were there and they were so nice! The staff and bartender were also great! The food was 10/10. I had catfish, greens, dressing and homemade cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread and my friend had lamb chops. We also had corn ribs and not only is that cool but it was delicious! For dessert we were gifted cheesecake, which was so good. The restaurant is beautiful. It was easy parking and easy to find. I’m excited to go back!!

Went here today and everything was amazing. The food was fantastic everything tasted fresh and hot. The service was great. Manager and owner came out to introduce themselves which is very nice. I’ll definitely be back. Sn: the bathroom is very clean

My wife and I visited this restaurant at the beginning of January after seeing the high reviews. We ordered the deviled eggs to start. Not only was it appetizing, it tasted good too. I highly recommend it. We then ordered the smothered pork chop for our entree. We added a side of collard greens and cornbread. The gravy/ sauce was very good however the pork chop can be more tender. The greens were salty while the cornbread was dry. For the dessert, we had the peach cobbler with ice cream. I recommend this too. BTW, the entree was big enough for us to share. Although it was beautiful inside, it was too bright giving a "cafeteria" vibe. I think dimming the light halfway would improve the ambiance. The music volume was just right. This place is new and likely working out some kinks. We will

The food was excellent and the hospitality was awesome! This is truly a hidden gem in the Katy area. If you are looking for great soul food and a quaint and elegant atmosphere you should check it out. The owner Antoine was very nice and welcomed feedback.

We went on valentine ! It was perfect. Food was great and didn’t take all day to come out ! Shane and his sister greeted us and made us feel at home. I will definitely tell people about this jewel. Vibe is elegant and inviting!
