Local Burgy

Might be a hot take, but I’ve tried a lot of BBQ spots around here, and nothing hits quite like Local Burgy. The portions are generous without being ridiculous, the prices are totally fair for what you get, and the food is consistently solid. The sauces deserve a shoutout too. They’re clearly homemade and have a great balance of sweet, smoky, and spicy options. Whether you’re a BBQ purist or just want something tasty, you’ll find something that works for you. The only possible downside is the setup. It’s basically a food truck with a casual outdoor seating area, so don’t go in expecting full restaurant amenities. I'm not a "food truck" person so it took a few to convince me this was good - It exceeded every expectation that I had and then some!! Burgers weren't to greasy and fries were decent (fries could have been cooked a few longer with a little less salt) - But I'm a picky particular female - So if you like crispy fries and not a lot of salt request double cooked fries and maybe no salt ... Unsure if they cook fries in bulk. Burger was absolutely mouth watering amazing!!

A must stop place if you like BBQ. Fantastic food. Friendly service. We had the brisket meal. Brisket was tender, tender enough to cut with a plastic fork, not too fatty, very flavorful. Loses a star because of underwhelming smokiness flavor and mild flavor corn bread. The Mac and cheese fantastic....creamy, good cheddar cheesy flavor. The Cole slaw fantastic, cold sweet tasting and tangy with no mayonaise...no mayo...super good. French fries fantastic, seasoned and fresh. The BBQ sauce excellent. We highly recommend this place!

First time going here. Was coming back from fishing and was looking for a place to stop and eat in Northampton. Saw this roadside BBQ stand next to a flower shop and decided to stop. Fries were very good and the brisket was super tender, only complaint was the BBQ sauce made everything super cold. They were still really good and we finished almost the whole plate. My burger was a little over cooked. When asked how I wanted cooked I said pink, there was no pink at all. Still a very fresh burger and tasted good. Great local spot if you’re ever out in the area.

Food was outstanding! Best fries I have ever had. Slightly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Perfect amount of salt. Burgers were cooked to perfection. Wish we lived closer. Or maybe it's a good thing I don't😉 Prices are very reasonable.
