Little Tokyo

Stopped in here tonight (8/21) for an impromptu dinner with my wife. We ordered the tuna amazing roll, sweetheart roll, and two tuna jalapeño rolls. The tuna jalapeño rolls were edible but nothing to ride home about. We unfortunately couldn't even eat the tuna amazing and sweetheart rolls due to the fish tasting very off and possibly even rancid. It may have been the spicy tuna which was in both of the "special rolls". We have been going out for sushi dinners regularly for the past 8 years and this was the first time we ever actually threw away sushi. I do not find joy in leaving this negative review, but I simply wanted to make others aware of the experience we had.

My favorite local takeout place for lunch. They are so kind and their food is great! I recommend the Chicken Katsu bento box.

We ate pickup/takeout from here nearly weekly when we lived locally and now only visit annually but go out of our way to eat here any chance we can when we fly back! We were thrilled to support them through the uncertain pandemic time and are so glad they’re still open. Incredible quality rolls for the price. We love this family-run business. They remember us even when we’ve been away for years. Can’t recommend it enough!

This is the first time I’ve ever left a one star review for a restaurant but i felt it definitely deserved it. While the food quality is just ok, i purchased a drink to find out it was old and the woman kept insisting it is fine and that its the manufacturing date and not an expiration date. It made me think if they try to sell old drinks and are not honest about that, could the food be old too?

Staff is always extremely nice, sushi is great. Never had a miss here in the many times i've ordered
