The Little Hen

We went here for restaurant week which was a great deal - 3 courses for $45 and they also gave 15% off single plates. Food was good - the escargot was delicious, chicken was great and so was the duck. The shrimp a bit over cooked but still flavorful. Desert was a crepe cake that was so ridiculously good. The service was spot on and overall we had a great dinner!

I thoroughly enjoyed the little hen, it’s a cute, romantic restaurant that brings a little slice of Europe to the USA. I think the waitress was very accommodating and considering the small space and amount of people, I would say she was talented at what she did. The food was great and pretty authentic, I didn’t give this five stars as I have had the amazing French food elsewhere in the world, but considering it’s locality I would say this was in fact a five stars. The restaurant is small, so ensure you book ahead of time. I recommend the duck.

I don’t even know how to put into words how incredible our experience at The Little Hen was. From the very beginning, Chef Alan’s communication was seamless and thoughtful, and he and his team delivered truly exceptional service. The food was outstanding from start to finish, the vibe was immaculate, and it was the birthday dinner I’ve always dreamed of. Thank you, Alan and team, for your kindness and for such delicious, memorable food. I cannot recommend this place enough whether you’re dining in or hosting a dinner party, support this small business because you will absolutely not regret it. I had my small intimate wedding reception here and the chef/owner were amazing at helping to pick the menu and helped everything to be just so perfect for my wedding dinner, the food was to die for

A wonderful dinner for my wife and I. It is a lovely small restaurant with the kitchen right near the dining area. The courses came out at a pace that made for a very enjoyable dinner. We were able to enjoy each course and some time for the two of us before the next came out. We had vichyssoise with scallops, sautéed radish, mushroom toast, the duck, and steak. For dessert we had the crepe cake. All were phenomenal and loaded with flavor, and the duck and steak were cooked a perfect medium rare. This restaurant is a gem.
