Little Sam's Pizza

Little Sam’s Pizza is a great neighborhood spot if you’re craving classic, no-nonsense pizza. The place has a relaxed, old-school pizzeria feel, and it’s the kind of spot locals seem to come back to again and again. The pizza is New York–style with thin, foldable slices and plenty of toppings. The dough is hand-tossed and made fresh, which gives the crust a really nice texture. I especially liked how the sauce and cheese were well balanced, not too heavy but still full of flavor. They also have wings, calzones, and other classic sides, so it’s easy to turn a quick pizza stop into a full meal. Portions are generous and the prices are pretty reasonable for San Diego. Overall, Little Sam’s Pizza is a solid choice if you want simple, satisfying pizza in a casual local setting.

Love this spot. Good pizza by the slice, big fan of the wings, and the Philly cheeses steak goes crazy. Soda machine hit and miss sometimes but hey its a good vibe

I really want to give more stars because the family who runs it is incredible. Unfortunately, the food really was just okay. Nothing stood out as "good". They didn't have ice, and the restaurant was probably about 90 degrees inside, even though outside was about 70.

We order from Little Sam’s frequently and have never had an issue. Today our order arrived and not only was it wrong but also damaged. When we called the restaurant directly, they brushed it off and said we had to contact the app it was ordered through, taking no responsibility saying there was nothing they could do. Extremely unprofessional!!!!

Little Sam's Pizza offers a no flare, no attitude, hole-in-the-wall experience. The standout is their delicious Philly cheesesteak, generously paired with crispy French fries ($17). While the pizza is decent, some may find the prices slightly higher compared to other local options, considering portion sizes. Overall, a tasty spot with room for improvement in pricing. I only do take out and never dine in however they do have 2-3 small tables inside that seat 2-3 people
