Little Miner Taco - Brentwood

The food was well served. I had the mushroom ramen. The food was delicious but I couldn’t quite figure out the taste of the sauce. This is my first time here and it wasn’t as expected but will try a different dish next time. Overall good dish.

Little Miner Taco was definitely worth the stop. I ordered the chicken fajita and the birria pizza, and both were really good. The chicken fajita was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, and tasted super fresh. The birria pizza was packed with flavor and had that rich, slow-cooked birria taste that really stands out. Overall great food and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu. 🌮

I used to love visiting LMT Hyattsville but the food quality/taste has really changed and not for the better. The steak fajitas and Birria tacos were bland. The guacamole was served frozen and cold. We asked for a new guacamole and it was still pretty cold and lacking flavor. What used to be a 10/10 taste wise is now unfortunately a 4/10. I typically don’t like to leave reviews like this but I was just extremely disappointed with my visit especially considering the prices.

I recently tried Little Miner Taco in Brentwood after my sister raved about their food truck, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a grilled chicken munchwrap, Americano Quesotacos, and Birria de Res Quesotacos for pick-up for myself and two others. The first red flag was the moment I walked inside — the restaurant didn’t smell like food at all. For a small space serving Mexican cuisine, this was incredibly odd. And once we got home and started eating, everything made sense. The food had no flavor. Not even basic seasoning like salt and pepper. The “grilled” chicken didn’t appear to be grilled, the consommé tasted like plain water, and overall everything was shockingly bland for a cuisine known for bold, delicious flavors. Dearest Gentle Eater, This author has had the pleasure of finding such a wonderful establishment after seeing their Valentine's Day special. Their birria and consomé is absolutely delicious and their loaded tacos will fill you up of you're hungry. The tres leches is light and creamy, and their black beans and rice are filling. The birria munchwraps put Taco Bell to shame. If you've been putting off on trying this restaurant on the delivery apps or in person, kindly give this establishment a chance to ease your hunger.
