Food is really good and hosts are really friendly and informal. Only thing is the sitting place is basically a table with 4 chairs. This is because they do NOT target “dine in” customers. Their goal is to encourage either take out or catering. I recommend samosa, falooda, qulfi, Nehari, Aloo nan, seekh kabab. The other thing is that their Roti isn’t the best for those who are used to eat white flour and smooth naans. However, those who really like brown clay oven roti, they’ll love the taste. I have to admit it is one item they can improve.
Alhumdulillah for so many halal options. 1st thing is that there is no dine in, only take out unless you want to sit on a side walk. I’m probably last person to comment on food since I don’t know much about Pakistani food. We had chicken tikka masala. Which was one of the best we had. Beef nehari and malai boti was good. Chicken tikka boti was spicy but good. And naan… so we didn’t eat right away we ate after an hour we picked up the food. Naan is one of my favorite bread/roti but this one was a bit chewy. It was cooked and was ok. It just stretched when you break it. So more like what I’m use to French bread style vs sourdough bread that’s the best way I can explain it. Taste is still good like naan and size is about 10” round.
I came to Lodi first time due to my sister doctor's appointment. Even though they were on afternoon break till 4pm, the chef saw me outside, let me in ask the receptionist to take my order. They respectfully told me they are Zabiha Halal and told me the source of meat. Later my food was ready in just 20 min. The portion of kabab and Tikka were huge and tasty. Not much spicy. Samosas were delicious and perfectly cooked even though I think it is somewhat expensive but it worth the price. Definitely I am coming back inshaAllah when my sister has next appointment.
Amazing is an understatement Best indo pak food available I haven't found better curry's and kebobs in the states The owners ali and captain are awesome super friendly and customer service is hands down better then any other place in the central valley There is no better restaurant than this
One of the best take-out restaurants in Lodi! A small hole in the wall that has delicious food and even better service. From great recommendations to large samples. Their staff was very personable and you can tell they put love in what they do. This is a must try! Give the restaurant a chance and I can guarantee you’ll be the next regular. I recommend their onion naan and the lentils!
