Super sweet sassy waitress! We each got a burger. He got the double, I got the single with cheese. Very tasty! They use fresh meat and pat out their patties. No frozen beef patty here! The fries are just crinkle fries. Nothing special. They have daily lunch specials. They do serve breakfast until 11. Yes, there is a smoking room and non-smoking room. You cannot smell the smoking section in the non-smoking section (or I would’ve left). I do wish the smoking section was in back and not where you wait to pay.

The place had an aged, cozy feel. Like an old diner. I went there because of a reference, saying it was "home cooked food". It's not. It's more like a cracker barrel without the decorations but with slightly, I mean slightly, better food for breakfast anyway. I haven't tried dinner, not sure that I will. I will say that they cooked really good bacon and the waitress was good. The biscuits seemed frozen, the gravy was bland, and our eggs were not cooked properly..... our waitress said their management was cooking so the food should be the best it could be. I feel like I might be giving it too many stars but maybe my expectation of "home cooked food" is too high.

This place is the best around. The food is always fresh and the servers are on top of their serving game with refills and making sure your experience is top tier.

If you find yourself anywhere near Moulton, AL at lunchtime, you should stop here. Inexpensive, delicious, southern cooking. The special was meatloaf or fried chicken, so I had both. Great meats & sides. Friendly service. If they had rhubarb pie I woulda been in heaven.

My husband and I wanted to try a local cafe and came here. Excellent waitress, great food. Tried grits for second time, which were good! Nice, cozy atmosphere. Separate smoking and non smoking sides. Food came out fast. Tried their chocolate gravy (I'm a Minnesota original) and it tasted like chocolate pudding, but interesting to try. I would recommend checking it out! Restaurant was clean and quite a bit of room to eat comfortably.
