Captain Dave's

I’m gonna say it, Captain Dave’s is the best restaurant in Moulton, AL. My wife and I stopped by on a Saturday evening and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff, how delicious everything was, and the unbeatable prices. Let me be clear, this place is a hole in the wall, but do not judge a book by its cover. The prices were so great we had three entrees! We had the catfish bites, bang bang, shrimp, fried pork tenderloin, fries, macaroni and cheese, and onion rings for $33. All were phenomenal. 10/10 will be back and you should go if you haven’t been!

If I could give a zero I would. Only two people in restaurant. had to ask for my salad, got to listen to gossip from back the whole time, maybe if they focused on food and not the town gossip this could be a decent place. I honestly learned more about domestic violence and laws then my food while waiting. My husband steak was cooked the way I asked and mine the way he asked. He received a ribeye, pretty sure I got the sirloin buy ordered a ribeye. My waitress was nice but I had to ask for anything I needed. Stepped to the back and all 6 or more girls was standing around. I don't recommend and I will not be back. Took over 10nmin to get waited on and nobody even in the place. The girl who sat us was on her phone the entire time and the waitress also. Really enjoyed our first trip to Capt Daves— food was great, strong portions, and prices very reasonable. Steaks cooked properly and service was prompt and super friendly. Looking forward to making the Capt a regular stop!

Fantastic entrée options! The awesome Burger lives up to its name, and the Bang Bang shrimp do go out with a BANG 🍤💥 to name a few of my favorites. The sides are superb! I like to ask for lemon slices to sprinkle into the brocolli, and I can never get enough of the cheesy goodness of their Mac and Cheese. I just left the place and just thinking about it all made me hungry again! You must try! Easy and laid back atmosphere. Bring the whole family!

They’ve got the best burger around, and you gotta try those shrimp tacos. Can’t go wrong here!
