Little Italy

Update to my review, on my last visit, the food, service and cleanliness were sadly disappointing. There must have been a change in management. I will not be returning. This was a surprising find. Staff and owner were very friendly. Food was super tasty and reasonably priced. We’ll def be back!

On a road trip from VA to SC and had to “refuel.” Not much in the area to choose from, so we tossed the dice on Little Italy. This was NOT a mistake. Not the biggest or prettiest Italian place I’ve been to, but more of a condensed and “homey” Italian feeling from this mom n pops restaurant. I got a meatball sub and it did not disappoint! Our waitress was very friendly. The only disappointment was that they were out of Tiramisu! (But kind of understandable being a low volume place.) However, the cannolis were very good with plenty of filling! This is a great little hidden gem. Stop in, don’t drive by it! *My rating is based on other mom n pop type places, not extravagant upscale restaurants.

I never ate here, tried the wings in the Caesars salad. I can tell you now I love the salad, feta cheese, cumbersome, tomatoes, black olives, red onions and a lot of jalapeño peppers, it was really good n zi had Italian dressing, it it actually tasted homemade, absolutely delicious. Then the wings, the wi is was good, a little spicy not to bad. So overall for what I tried it was very good and they definitely packed that salad. Also they give you slices of bread, I don't know the name but I seen it and it is delicious. I'm sorry I forgot to get it in picture and I had already dig into the wings🤣. I can't wait to try other dishes

Great little place off the highway where we could get lunch that was not fast food. Service and food were great. Very accommodating with offering to move us from a small 2 person table to a larger booth once room opened up since there were three of us. Also allowed my wife to order off the kids menu since she wanted a smaller portion. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good Italian meal and supporting small businesses.

Came her for lunch last Friday and we loved it! Pizza was so big we ate it for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning. My girls are still talking about how yummy it was and how they want to feed the fish again. Our waitress was very nice and the place had a nice calm vibe. We will be back!
