Lion Rojo

Great experience from the friendly welcome to the delicious food. We had the Verde burrito and the chicken salad and both were amazing. The salsa is also homemade and tasted fresh, we bought some to take home! We are gonna go back later this week and try something else and maybe a dessert... This place has many options including American, so if you need to feed different appetites, this is the spot!

Food was amazing! I’ll be honest, probably the BEST seasoned steak fajitas I’ve ever had. Meat most places is bland, this place is NOT. It’s become one of our favs! We will be back !

It's probably time I leave a review for Lion Rojo. I think we frequent there about 1-2 times a month. Everything is always good. The service is always the best of the best. The prices always feel they are right where they should be. You'll never leave hungry. Want something different and awesome? try the loaded asada fries. The restaurant is in a very historic, beautiful building. The building used to be Cafe on the Route and was on Diners Drive-ins and Dives but this place is way better. Better in every way really. They even got American food if you aren't in the mood for Mexican. It's the best of Baxter Springs and you can make an argument maybe in the Greater Joplin area

The food was delicious! Loved the fresh salsa and warm chips. The grilled chicken in the enchiladas had so much flavor. Everyone in our party loved their food!

My wife and I heard about this place from a coworker and decided to try it. The food was great. Unfortunately though, the waitress didn't know any answers that I asked her about the food or drinks. It wasn't a bad experience, but in my opinion, if you are going to work at a restaurant, you really should take time and learn about the menu and the drinks.
