Lima Public Library

Very nice and inviting. They have many amenities and the staff is very helpful and pleasant.

Absolute disgrace. I was sitting with my daughter over lunch at the library. She put her head down and a security officer came over and tapped on the table right by her face. He said "You can't sleep here". We will never use this library again after that. I am so so mad. I can't believe the library would treat people this way. I am still very upset that this happened but libraries are my favorite places. They offer great services for the community. I couldn't leave it as a one star. Certainly there are better locations but this is not the time to crap on one of the few places left that's out there solely to enrich people's lives and costs nothing to enjoy.

The Lima Public library is a great resource. I’m extremely grateful to have such a good library in town. A few staff members are rude, I feel bad saying that because it’s only a couple of the older ladies that work at the front desk. I won’t mention names now but not cool. Most of the employees are more than helpful and very polite. They have a really good staff in the children’s room and at the help desk.

Good selection, a few study rooms, quiet area. Expect some disruptive people but you can move to avoid the noise.

This library needs a complete overhaul and cleaning. The study room are always dirty. You can't eat here but people do. I came for quiet time. Been here about 2 weeks and I hate it. The people are rude and overbearing. I am looking at a black guy walking up and down the isles numerous times doing nothing but looking at me. Yesterday some clown on a bike got off put his foot against the revolving door to keep me from coming out and say it's a merry go round and laugh today it's a public safety officer telling the librarian at the front desk where I live. WHY.? HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! Every time I come there's a new misadventure. Why is the women's bathroom door wide open and the men's is closed? Why can't we eat snacks? Why are the study room uncleaned? Why are there no signage telling you wher
