Lil’ PHATTY’S at Off The Grid

What a great spot to grab a burrito! Phatty’s is located up on a hill with “Off the Grid” and “Smokin’ Bowls at off the grid (Ramen)”. It’s a cool little spot to hang out and enjoy your takeout. There was a firepit and it was very family friendly. The person making the food for us came out and spoke about the area and the history of the location. I loved the passion he had when talking about the food and the BBQ. The picture doesn't represent how good and the portion size. My burrito was overstuffed with tender smoked beef brisket and all the fixings. This place is a must try and I can’t wait to go back and try Birria’s.

Great pulled pork sandwich... sloppy something was very yum. Nice bar...good selection of draught beer, cans and mixed drinks. Cute grounds. Walkable. Dog friendly.

If this had been my first experience at Off The Grid, I would never go back. Very disappointed with the whole package at Lil' Phatty's this time ----food and service. Cod tacos had one scrawny piece of fish in each taco ----the contents of all 3 tacos should have been used to fill just one! A friend ordered the taco trio and the meat in those tacos was COLD ---had to return it so the cook could "try again". Overall the tacos were not great, to say the least. And we had to wait 30 minutes for our order ---and it was NOT at all busy there! Cook had one speed: SLOW. And that would have been OK if the food was phenomenal, but it was not. Certainly not worth the price!

It was just ok. Got there expecting big stuffed burritos. But they told me all they have are tacos! Kind of a let down considering the pictures. I imagine the girl at the counter just didn’t tell me they have another set up across the street from the taco shack.
