Lighthouse Restaurant

Very cool funky old Florida feel inside. A little bit of being in a ship theme. Outside doesn't look like anything special outside. So many great dinners and restaurants are like that especially in these type areas. But believe me always good and homemade. This restaurant has Alot of great southern seafood( mostly fried to perfection ) I had the Deviled crab stuffed shrimp ,with cheese grits and since I didn't order the salad I got a loaded baked potato to take home. My husband ordered the fried shrimp which there was plenty ( maybe not the bigger sizes you normally think) a decent portion with the best fried Okra and he did get the salad bar.Which had regular salad bar stuff.Potato salad ,macaroni salad pea salad all sorts of southern things. Of course pudding. As far as I could see

Nikki was our server and provided top notch service. Everything from the onion rings to the steak and crab legs was DELICIOUS and perfectly cooked. The decor is amazing. Love this place! 5 stars! Will definitely be back again

Food was really good and came out quick and hot. A pretty nice salad bar. The inside has the old Florida feel. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

In town camping and went to grab some dinner. Accidentally stumbled into the nicest place. Lots of nautical decorations (imagine eating on the deck of the USS Constitution), food was great (ordered the "Dinghy" fish, shrimp, crab cake and crab fingers, considered "lighter fare"), but the service... they were genuine, patient and friendly. Ina waited on me, but I saw this with other staff, to: "Sir", "Hon", "Darlin", all professional and sincere. Some may not like that, but I thought I stepped in a time machine & was back at my Gramma's table. I spent $20 & couldn't finish! Definitely coming back!

Ate twice during my trip. Fried oysters were very good. The fish was very good too. They have an all you can eat special, but you won’t get past 1 plate. There portions are pretty big. Service was nice, a prompt. Only thing I wished was they served coke. Inserted a pic of oysters. They were delicious. Sorry I didn’t get pic prior to hot sauce.
