The moment I walked into the townhouse condo located behind the main house, I was completely impressed. Extremely spacious, beautiful/comfortable furniture, beautiful decor. There are lots of windows to let in light and plenty of light fixtures & lamps to provide a very cozy atmosphere. I can honestly say I've never stayed anywhere so clean well cared for. My favorite thing of all is the wonderfully comfortable mattresses and the abundance of pillows Vivian supplies. You will need for nothing when you stay here. I recommend this Inn to EVERYBODY looking for a pleasant and quiet place to spend a couple days or a couple weeks. You won't be disappointed! =) -- K.D.

We stayed here March 2015 for 2 nights to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary, as well as go to an open house at the venue where our daughter is getting married in May. We were in the blue room, which we loved because it had a kitchenette. The room was very spacious, wi-fi easy to use, and I loved having access to their Keurig coffee pot! The owner is very accommodating. The Inn fronts a busy street, but the noise died down by 10 pm. We sleep with a white noise machine anyway, so the cars didn't bother us. The owner does not live there, so you do have the Inn to yourselves...and whomever rents the other rooms. One room--the brass room--does not have an entrance to the main house. You have to go out it's back entrance, then walk around to the front porch to get in the main house

Many aspects of your stay can create a wonderful experience; comfort, service, value, location, and overall pleasantry. I provided an excellent overall rating because I truly felt as though it was a very good experience for my wife and I. To be straightforward, this is NOT a 4 star hotel, nor should you view it in accordance to those standards. The owner was very professional through all of our contacts leading up to our arrival and was very understanding of our long travel that she made accommodations to ease the process. ||||The blue room was given to us as an upgrade, since it was not a busy weekend and we arrived late on Thursday night. The bed was quite comfortable, bathroom was clean, towels were provided, and the fridge was a plus (standard large fridge if you're wanting to store f

Pink room is a cute room but... No rest, a noisy room. Can hear every darn thing the couple next door are saying and what was on their TV. They may as well be in MY ROOM. Beautiful but if you are needing a peaceful night you better hope the people next to you are wanting the same. Traffic doesnt bother me too much but it was loud.|Never met the owner. |They really need to insulate that Pink room better, that door adjoining the two rooms is mostly where the noise and light beamed into our room. Would like to try a better room there. Location is very convenient. Coffee shop across street. Dairy Queen also. And if you need to attend church on Sunday there is a little church right beside it. We left too early to attend.|Very very clean.|

I stayed just one night at the Lighthouse Inn on 10 February 2017. This was my first overnight stay in Morehead City. Everything about this visit was wonderful. Ms. Wanda and Ms. Karen were there to greet me when I arrived. They took time to review the features of the property and explained how to fully take advantage of the amenities in the room (WIFI and cable TV). We also spent a few minutes getting acquainted. As for the room it was immaculate and comfortable. The Wicker Room has a seating area which was great for sitting and searching for beach properties. Check out was smooth and hassle free. Billing was exactly as we had discussed (no surprises). I am certain that I or my future guests will stay again at the Lighthouse Inn. I look forward to returning as often as possible
