my go to spot🤩🤩 so cozy, delcious food, nice workers, amazing atmosphere! I always get the burrata bruschetta as an app and let me tell you-INCREDIBLE!!!! you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they also have daily specials that are always so yummy and creative🥰 thank u libro!!!!
My friend and I were hunting for a dinner spot, and she suggested this hidden gem—tucked inside a super cute bookstore (yes, you read that right). We went on a random weeknight and wow, it was buzzing—full house, lively vibes, and cozy corners. Loved the bookstore too, totally got distracted flipping through shelves before dinner. We barely snagged a tiny table and skipped apps—straight to the mains. I went with a deli-style sandwich served with fries. She got the fried catfish with coleslaw. Nothing groundbreaking, but solid comfort food. Now, the dessert… Tiramisu. Big nope. It showed up all cracked and messy—apparently the last slice—and it was way too sweet. We didn’t even finish it, which says a lot. Overall? The food was decent, but the real star was the vibrant, bookish ambience.
We went for valentines and had a great meal, we only had to wait about 15 minutes even though we didnt have a reservation. The food was good, and the atmosphere is cozy, although a tad loud. The server we had was great, was there when we needed and not when we didnt, so we did not feel bothered at all. He wasnt overly "charming" in the salesy way, just genunie and polite. We had the chicken salad sandwhich which was good, but I did add a little salt. And a pasta dish that I forgot but it was also pretty good. My favorite thing we had was the bruchetta and buratta and it was fantastic.
Lovely experience here! I have the grilled cheese and tomato soup! Bartender was attentive and bar was clean! Will be back!
I cannot believe that I've never done a review of Libro! I have been going to Libro for years, and it has always been an excellent experience. Tucked away in the bookstore, this restaurant delivers an upscale ambience, casual service. I typically order the salads, but when I've gone with a small group, everyone enjoys their food. You can't go wrong here. In the late spring and early summer, it is so nice to sit outside on their small patio. I also don't remember ever having to wait to be seated (though they do get busy; I think I'm just lucky!) The best part is that I'm able to walk around and check out new books, especially from local authors! I highly recommend Libro.
