Liberty Family Restaurant

Current rating is 4.4. Liberty Family Restaurant is located just at the Peru/LaSalle city limit sign, just over the bridge heading west. Service is good here. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Most of the parking is located behind the restaurant and there’s 2 entrances/exits I saw. It’s a seat yourself restaurant. The menu is typical for a family restaurant. You’ll find most of what you’d expect to find in it. The food tasted fine, overall average. Many locals shuffled in and out, per the ratings, it appears to be a favorite among them. I would come back here, but I’d probably try other restaurants in the area first.

Such a cute vibe to the place! The Reuben I had was amazing, and our server was very attentive. The serving sizes are large and quite affordable for what you get. And a cup of soup comes with dinner orders! They also do all-day breakfast

Only waited a few minutes to get seated for breakfast. I love the taste and texture of the pancakes. 🥞 Real good. I ordered the spinach and feta omelet. Pretty good except I wish the feta was inside the omelet instead on top. Seemed kinda flat instead of fluffy. Texas toast was real good. 👍I had to ask for any preserves or jam. Recommend the American fries. Our waitress was nice and she came by numerous times to see if we needed anything. We will definitely go back.

Great experience. The hostess brought over a stack of coloring books and a cup of crayons for the kids. The food was great, hashbrowns and bacon cooked perfect. Staff was very friendly and prices are fair. I'd recommend coming for breakfast to anyone.

Place was busy..but we were seated right away..fast and friendly service. Taste was good, however..wish the spinach, and mushrooms were fresh and not canned. Forgot a picture of the cinnamon roll..tasty wish it had just a little more icing.. over all.. we'd come back.
