Liberty Chinatown kitchen

I found a bug in my food. I’ve eaten here multiple times and the food has always been amazing and the workers always kind. However, I found a bug in my soup. I called and let them know and they offered me a partial refund for the soup, however I didn’t have it in me to eat the tray of rice & chicken wings I ordered as well after seeing that. It’s either a silverfish or small insect larvae. This type of bug is commonly found in kitchens, storage areas, and humid environments. These bugs multiply, so it’s not like a simple fly that flew in through the window and made its way in the soup by accident. Chances are there are a lot more in their kitchen. Unfortunately I won’t be eating here anymore, and just wanted to make others aware and check your food.

When buying here, expect they will leave such a mess in the bag that it will disintegrate the paper bag inside and leak cause everywhere. Absolutely no accountability here, and they don't care either...

Food was cooked well but was very bland. It truly lacked flavor.

Considering there are an abundance of Chinese restaurants in a very depressing town, as a local I must admit that Chinatown has the best takeout in the area. The food is always fresh, hot and not soggy. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken, with crispy breading and juicy chicken hidden in the middle of the nugget. I agree with the other reviews, the fried rice is different so if you are looking for a typical takeout then this spot might not be for you. However if you are an adventurous eater we definitely recommend it. We have no problem spending a bit for a meal that feeds a family of 3 for ten dollars each!!

In my opinion this is the best Chinese restaurant in Liberty. Tasty food and I can count on the consistency in the flavor of the dishes. The cashiers are always polite and friendly.
