Levi Heywood Memorial Library

Very nice library. Great staff. Someone is always working on a jigsaw puzzle in the main section. :) Computers, books, printing, copying, interlibrary loans, childrens section; library standards. They have different events for children, teens, and adults. Book clubs, craft groups, walking group; check the schedule to see what they are offering this week or month! Really enjoyed their six week yoga session at the end of summer!

Quiet, clean, comfortable, nicely air conditioned. Has to be the nicest building in Gardner.

A bigger better quieter library than Brattleboro! Imagine that. Lucky us here in Gardner. !

My kiddo's and I absolutely love this beautiful library! The children's section is very large; and I love that the librarians pull out seasonal, recommended books each month that help guide kids in choosing selections. There are so many children's books to pick from! And there are always such fantastic programs running, like reading to an adorable dog or making crafts. My son is on the shy side, and it's been great to see him confidently walk up to a librarian when he has needed help to find a book. He knows they'll happily help him. Both of my kids adore all the librarians and visiting this library is a highlight of our school week. What an amazing resource for local families!

From the direction we came me and my mom parked at the backside of the library. When I entered I just thought liked what I saw it was a normal library until I moved into the main room which was HUGE! The library is ginormous inside all sorts of books are in there. My mom and I found this really old book keeping a track record all the types of stores and what they sold 1800's! This library is awesome has so much stuff in it really nice bathroom stairs and elevators everywhere. The kids room is really cute and lots of, and a bunch of study space for anyone who needs to study. And even though it's a really big library it doesn't echo too badly so it's still quiet. This is the fanciest library ever been to and it been to a few!
