Leo's Island BBQ

I’ve been on the hunt for some good Spam Musubi lately and finally stumbled upon Leo’s Island BBQ. I ended up grabbing two musubis and the Chicken & Beef Combo, and honestly, the smell hitting me in the car was a 10/10 before I even took a bite. The Chicken & Beef combo was the way to go. Both meats were super flavorful and cooked perfectly. I’m glad I did the mix because choosing just one would’ve been a mistake. The Spam Musubi was the best part. I haven’t had a good one since I was in San Antonio, and this totally hit the spot. I’ve definitely found my new go-to for island cravings. I’ll be back for sure!

Been stopping in to pick up the (previously wonderful) Hawaiian type macaroni salad for about 2 years now. Paid almost $10.00 for 2 simple scoops. Not sure what happened with their macaroni salad, but it’s turned into nothing more than macaroni noodles and mayonnaise. Used to have much more in it & taste much better. Will find another place to get this dish from.

No frills Hawaiian BBQ plate lunch place for takeout. Had to call my order in as I didn't find an online ordering site. Good flavors, great mac salad, big portions, and not too salty (unlike the Hawaiian place down the street). Would go back!

Heard that this is one of the best Hawaiian style BBQ spots in the Phoenix valley & was finally out in the area, so I had to stop by. Absolutely glad I did! Had the Kahlua pork plate, manapua, and BBQ beef musubi. Everything was excellent. The Kahlua is perfectly moist, and has a really gorgeous smoke to it. The macaroni salad is really tasty and feels light and refreshing paired with the meat. Even the steamed veg (broccoli and cabbage) was streamed to perfection (just the right crunch, neither raw nor soggy). We'll absolutely be back whenever we make it out this way
