Leonia Public Library

It’s an okay library to work from but there’s a some catches. Internet/WiFi is strong enough for basic work functions. There’s a main area with at least half a dozen tables and some small desks. The biggest issue is that there is not enough outlets for chargers. They’re spread out, sporadic and weirdly placed from the tables and desks.

We went for the Tuesday Story Time for ages 6 months to 4 years. There was plenty of age appropriate activities & toys to keep the little ones engaged, nice large room & the librarian could not have been nicer. They also did an art project

It's an okay library, and the staff seems nice. But it often gets quite noisy, especially after school. The students talk to each other in a loud voice about all kinds of (petty) stuff. Sometimes I'm not sure whether I'm in a library or a cafe. I wish the staff would do more to keep people mindful of others, by keeping the volume to a minimum, for example.

(Because Google is deleting my wife's reviews when she uses her account ...) Asian painting with Florence Kim is absolute delight! The experience is unparalleled in terms of enjoyment, making it one of the best activities I've ever encountered -- and I have had the privilege of attending many fantastic library events. Korean painting embodies qualities such as softness, delicacy, lightness, and patience — everything I am not. Engaging in Korean painting is a true challenge for me, and it's so much fun! In my ideal afterlife, I would spend eternity in Asian painting class. I am exceptionally pleased and grateful to Florence Kim and the Leonia Library for continuing to provide this opportunity. - Belinda

It is very upsetting as an educator who is reaching out to educate our children over the summer, apparently not allowed to advertise or leave any kind of correspondence for my services because it is only for nonprofit to advertise seems very unfair to me…🤔Isn’t educating our children for everyone. 😞
