Choo Choo Train Sushi

Omg! Where to begin, this might have become my new favorite sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is phenomenal. Justin took such great care of my girlfriend and I. Came here for date night and the sushi train is so fun. I could definitely see how this place is a phenomenal way to introduce kids to sushi. The food was outrageously flavorful, every bite being its own experience. Can’t wait to come here many more times. No wonder it’s so highly rated!

Loved this place. Fun for the kids, food is delicious and very friendly team. We will be back We loved the chicken teriyaki. Soup was delicious The bbq ribs were amazing Sushi was fresh and delicious Oysters were a nice treat Dessert was gone before we could take a picture The waiter was fun and entertaining

I came here for lunch several times while I was working in the area. Parking is across the street. The food is great and the service is great as well. The ramen was very well seasoned. The bento box is a great deal. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

This is North East Jersey. There's good Korean/Japanese food everywhere. But if you want that good food with very personable (mom and pop type) service this is your spot. Esp if you have kids (which I do). Choo Choo Train is very kid friendly. Heck, they even have a cotton candy machine. There is a limited "rotating sushi" on a toy train (hence the name) which rolls around the front dining counter but you can order much more from their rather extensive menu. And unlike other Asian spots with boring dessert options there are some deep-fried gems here like the deep fried ice cream and deep fried Oreos. To top it all off it's BYOB if you are so inclined. Really enjoy this place. Sat at the sushi bar as a couple the first time here and enjoyed picking off various sushi offers that came by on the cute sushi train. The sushi tastes very delicious and fresh. This time I revisited with my almost two year old and it’s very fun and family friendly. BYOB and the sushi does not disappoint. Super affordable too. Would definitely recommend. Everyone is friendly and even the bathrooms are adorable. Located in a very cute town that feels like upstate NY.
