Legends Restaurant

This is a charming local restaurant we have been visiting once or twice a year for a long time. Our most recent visit was the first disappointment. The Draft beer was stale and tasted off. Probably because it was Thursday at 5pm and it had been sitting in the lines since last Saturday. They no longer serve Straub beer which was a bummer. The wings were over cooked and had very little meat or sauce. Way over priced for the wings. The last time we were here the wings were awesome (and reasonably priced). Our sandwiches were good and their hand cut French fries are delicious and plentiful. It was unusually busy that night so service was slow. We love to try out restaurants we’ve never been to …. Decided to give Legends a try …. We got there about an hour before closing … what an adorable place! The 50’s music playing all throughout.. amazing ambience! So much to look at …. Love the lighting.. I had the Spaghetti & Meatballs dinner .. (we ordered fries with cheese /bacon in a bucket as an appetizer) .. Hubby had the Seafood Platter… we were very happy with our dinners … and the fries were awesome.. everything was very good ! And great portions. VERY friendly staff …it’s worth the drive out of town to get there .. We cannot wait to head back there … thumbs up 👍🏼

The ambiance was pretty nifty and the staff were super nice. We weren't terribly impressed with the food though. My gf had a salad and didn't really like it. I had the ACYE ribs and chicken. It was eh... Doused in sauce but the meat was dry. My vote is to give it another chance but my gf says maybe, maybe not.

Pitts-burger was great 👍 Fresh cut fries were great 👍 Lettuce in salad tasted a little off. Price was good 👍 Great vibe inside, 50's Cadillac front half in the Elvis room, filled with muse throughout. Also an ethnic railroad caboose made into a dining room.

My family has been here twice in the past month. We were not aware until someone suggested it and now we love it and drive 30+ miles to meet here for dinner on special occasions. We love the atmosphere and so far everything we have tried from the menu has been amazing. Large portions, delicious food and great service. We look for add to our next visit! Parking is limited, so car pool when possible. 😊
