Lefty’s Eats & Espresso Fairborn

First time here and I look forward to coming back! I stopped in for a coffee. But I was quickly influenced to add a bite to eat- a pic of smoked sausage slid across the menu screen and I really needed that in my life! It was a very good decision! The smoked sausage was grilled just right, the flavour was wonderful and it complemented my Dutch Apple Pie Latte, perfectly. I had my latte, served hot - one of THE Best Flavoured Coffees I have ever had the pleasure of consuming!!! They have an extensive menu - including a very large breakfast menu. Breakfast is served until 11a. I'm sorry breakfast is over...I really miss that sausage...

This is a wonderful place to visit for a local, small town breakfast. They have a big menu, which was surprising! They also have an app for those who are or might become frequent visitors so you can order ahead and have faster service and quick pickups. They do have vegetarian options (garden benedict and huevos rancheros) and they do have two vegan options (the green goddess sandwich and the garden salad). I got the green goddess sandwich (pictured with potato salad). My husband got French toast with breakfast potatoes (also pictured). They have a huge coffee/drink menu, AND they also have a big selection of pies! This is a cute and relaxing place to have a good meal, and it really does have a great “café atmosphere”. I thought the food was pretty good and at a reasonable price (but I realize this is debatable). However about 40 minutes before they were about to close one of the ladies working there (she was a cook) turn the lights off on me…I was the only one in the store so I understand they were probably winding down but I was still there eating and it wasn’t closing time yet. One of the other workers turn the lights back on but I just left after that. This did happen a while ago btw, not sure if she’s still there but I haven’t been back since and probably won’t be going back. (Edit: I should probably mention that I did in fact see the cook turn the lights off with frustration. It was intentionally turned off. Not an accident. Great little coffee shop with some tasty bites to eat. The coffee is some of the best around. The pies look good too!
