Lefort’s Seafood Restaurant

We had a great experience at Lafort's Seafood. The crawfish and all the fixings were seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing. The place was clean, welcoming, and had a great atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Great service and atmosphere plus the other food is good but the crawfish was mushy, partially rubbery texture,and too salty. $16 for 2 pounds,never again,I rather go catch my own crawfish and cook it!

I recently discovered a delightful dining spot during my drive around the area. Being here for the next two years, I'm on the lookout for my go-to places for good food. This restaurant stood out, not just for its delicious offerings but also for the warm hospitality. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a wonderfully friendly hostess named Brigette (forgive me if I misspelled your name). Brigette's welcoming demeanor and insightful recommendations about the area added a personal touch to my visit. The meal was nothing short of delightful. I enjoyed perfectly cooked deep-fried catfish and shrimp, accompanied by creamy potato salad, crispy deep-fried corn, and flavorful garlic toast. Walked in and was greeted by two sweet ladies, the menu all looked delicious! Had to try my all time go-to: shrimp poboy, all dressed. It was outstanding! Shrimp were crisp, fresh, and well seasoned; bread was fresh and toasted crispy 😋 Inhaled the whole thang in no time, no crumbs left haha

Lefort’s Seafood Restaurant in Marrero is the next chapter in the Lefort’s Seafood business and is kicked up a notch for sure! Opening week has been quite busy each time we’ve pulled into the parking lot. I don’t think the new owners have slept much as every day has been exciting for them from what we can tell. The staff is very friendly and the menu options are ever changing.
