Visiting from out of town for a conference and decided since we are in the area we should check out Jean Lefitte National Park. Fun hikes in a unique ecosystem... But we built up an appetite! This restaurant is just across the highway from the park entrance, so we stopped in for a late lunch. All of us were completely satiated and greatly enjoyed very well prepared fried catfish and oysters. The portions were huge! The ambience very laid back and the services was exemplary. I would certainly eat here again. Thanks for a great experience!

Came here for thanksgiving with the family, and hands down one of the best dining experiences, superb food, service, and decor I've ever had the great joy and privilege of enjoying immensely!! Delightful, gorgeous environment, amazing view, epically tasty and visually stunning dishes, enormously caring, knowledgeable and attentive staff, beautiful location and grounds, phenomenal ambiance and music, tasty tasty grub, excellent value, highest recommendation. Truly the meal of a lifetime we'll never forget!! 😀🙏✨

Tucked into the beautiful bayou this cozy but very nice place will answer the call to your southern food heart! We had the chicken sandwich & shrimp po'boy for lunch both were amazing! We also had the sides of potatoes au gratin and jambalaya. We loved both. If you're going on one of the swamp tours, or looking for something slightly out of the city, that's not too pricey, this is your place.

Out of all the restaurants on my week-long trip to New Orleans, this one was the most memorable-and it's not even in New Orleans! After a day of exploring the bayou, we discovered this restaurant based on its great reviews. Honestly, we weren't sure what to expect, given that there seemed to be a pretty limited choice of restaurants in the area that we were in. But wow, we were blown away! Our group started off with the Boudin Boulettes and the Alligator Stuffed Mushrooms and then for my entree, I had a pasta dish with shrimp tossed in an amazing savory cream sauce. We were there in the late afternoon and were practically the only ones there, so it felt like we had this special spot to ourselves. We sat right next to their floor to ceiling windows, looking out over the bayou, and watched a

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch here. I really appreciated the small things done right, like cold salad plates and staff filling to go containers. I got the Shrimp Lafitte which was supposed to have lump crab, but they were out, so they put the last of their claw meat instead, which was a very nice gesture. My friend had the fried shrimp, and we both agreed they were probably the best we've ever had, and we have eaten a lot of fried shrimp as native Louisianians. So good! The desserts were decadent. My favorite was the pecan cobbler. I loved this innovative twist on traditional pecan pie! The atmosphere cannot be beat. It's open and airy, and we were seated right next to the large picture windows. We loved seeing all the wildlife on a gorgous spring day. Our server was terrific. She seem
