Leatherby's Family Creamery

My friend who stayed in Utah for a while has been bringing me to all the fun local joints in the area. We went to Harmon's yesterday and saw that Leatherby's was right across the street. So, today we made our way over for lunch. My friend was shocked to see that it was slow. I guess this joint is always packed to the brim. With my kidney transplant, I am happy that it's kinda slow but it would have been fun to eat in a full house of guests. We were sat right away. Joe served us today. My friend and I already checked out the menu while I was at my dr appointment. So, we knew what we wanted. Drinks were dropped off and orders were taken. OMG....this place is a must try even if you are not an ice cream lover . We went to celebrate my husband bday and it was packed at 9pm...we were seated fast and our server Valden was absolutely amazing. And the ice cream is to die for. The ice creams are amazing, we got the corners banana split and the Carolyn's caramel cinnamon twist and it was absolutely delicious. Valden you are an amazing person and ur smile made our day.

I love ice cream. Everywhere I go I try new places. This is my favorite in Utah so far. The Churro one was AMAZING!!! It had horchata ice cream and caramel from condensed milk. It almost tasted like a tres leches.

Good old-school style ice cream. They are not stingy on the amount of ice cream and toppings. The restaurant was busy yet the service we received was great. Our server didn’t lost his smile even though we order one ice cream to share for the family (we usually don’t eat much sweet and we already had a big meal before coming here). It took some time to wait for our ice cream hut seeing how busy they are, it is acceptable. We enjoy the ice cream and left the restaurant with full belly and smiles on our face. Will definitely come back

I came into Leatherby’s Family Creamery expecting a small, cozy family-run ice cream shop—but I was genuinely surprised by the size of the place. It’s more of a full-blown café-style creamery, and the word huge doesn’t just apply to the building—it goes for their food portions too! We ordered Amy’s Hot Fudge Brownie, and the portion was massive. The standout element? That incredible hot fudge. It was rich, warm, and absolutely delicious—so much so that I ended up ordering extra fudge on the side. It really made the dessert memorable. The space itself is clean and well-maintained, which added to the positive experience. One small thing I missed on arrival was the ice cream display freezers. I only noticed them while exiting, which made me wish I had explored more flavors while I was there
