Taylorsville Library

This library is amazingly situated, right near a park, a pool, and a recreation center. It kind of can't be beat. It has updated books for kids and adults. The kids section is well organized and has a lot of great seating for reading and also for waiting for kids to pick books. There is a drinking fountain and public restrooms at the front, which makes it easy for exiting and entering purposes. The librarians are generally understanding of children mayhem. They are knowledgeable and have helped me with many a problem in my time there.

This library is one of many that are part of the Salt Lake County library system. I love that you can check out books from one location but return them to any of the libraries in the country. They have a lot of events for all ages, but we love going for the kid play time! All the events are posted on their website so it's easy to see what is happening each month!

Been living in Taylorsville city for while but l never know there is a Library there place l always go to park around there.so, l can imagine how much we are going to enjoy to be to this Library day by day , we gonna love love so much

Great place to borrow books. Staff is friendly and nice! I always enjoy coming here.

Always a welcoming place. I don't think we've ever had a grumpy librarian here, even when I bring my young kids. And the rotating scavenger hunt and other activities with prizes that are not candy (hooray!) makes my younger kids beg to go to the library. This is just a great community resource and has been since I was a kid.
