Leach Public Library

The Londonderry Leach Library deserves every bit of this five-star review! Their children’s program—especially the summer offerings—is truly exceptional. My kids look forward to every visit, and it’s easy to see why. The library hosts an incredible lineup of hands-on learning experiences, from Mad Science experiments to LEGO engineering, circuitry projects, and even developing battery-operated cars. Each activity is thoughtfully planned, educational, and tons of fun, making learning feel like an adventure. Oscar the turtle is always a highlight for my kids. They love stopping by to check on him, and he adds such a special charm to the children’s area. Wonderful staff and amazing director! Staff are always friendly and engaging. The library offers so much more than books these days! Programs, museum passes, even items for check out! It’s truly amazing what a lovely library we have!

As of 02/04/2026 This library is temporarily closed. I'm not sure when it's going to reopen but I was told there is pipe damage due to the weather.

My favorite library! They always have several great book clubs every month going on!

Really enjoy coming to this library to study/change up my working environment. Every librarian here is so kind and helpful when having questions or needing assistance to use a study room. The only negative complaint of mine is that when attempting to have any video calls or meetings within a study room the internet bandwidth can not hold video calls which isn't helpful for a public library. I did share this information with the Assistant Director in which she shared the IT department was going to look into it. Hoping this library obtains a higher internet bandwidth to allow video calls.
