Le Pointe Steakhouse & Cajun

We decided to give this a try on a last-minute whim. It said reservations required, but when we called he said we were ok since it was just 2 of us. The food was VERY tasty! Service was good. It wasn’t super busy, so don’t be put off by the ‘reservations only’. Call them. Some things I’d recommend-add some low carb sides (side salad, green beans, asparagus, broccoli, etc); offer a ‘cup’ option on soups. Most people would order that to go with an entree, whereas they won’t necessarily want a full bowl of gumbo/soup. A ‘flight’ of the soups would also be good. Just my thoughts. We definitely plan to return to try some other things!

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere and service are top notch-- the owner was out walking around and talking to the customers, he's so nice and made us feel welcome--our server was excellent and so sweet. The food was on point, my friends and I all ordered something different and sampled each others dishes-- everything was delicious! But I have on the rave on the grits-- they are to die for! The beverages are delicious as well! This place is perfect for all occasions. I will be a long time customer 🥰

Party of 6. We had reservations, so there was no wait. All of the staff was very friendly. Our waitress seemed new and brought our salads after our entrees. Other helped out and refilled our drinks. Steak was absolutely delicious. Would definitely go back. Never realized downtown Summit had so many cute shops, so I'll have to go back during the day.

Great dining experience with our family. We made reservations and our table was ready and waiting. The staff was professional and very friendly. Our waitress took great care of us. The manager checked on us during the meal. You can tell they care. It was refreshing to see how much the staff cares about customers. Great job LePointe! We will be back! Great live music too!

My wife and I finally had a day away from the kids and decided to go try out this place. I knew that Justin Aka Stalekracker was one of the owners and I have been using his products since I seen his videos and found his store in Kentwood, La. Our daughter had found out we were going and was upset that we would see Justin at the restaurant. When we got there the beautiful door caught our eyes and the inside was nice with friendly service. We sat down and I noticed Justin over by the bar and asked for a photo with him. Great experience and I had the Lapointe Burger and my wife had the chicken salad. The burger was so juicy and full of flavor, by far the best burger I have had in a long time. The chicken salad had just as much chicken as it did salad with pecans and apple pieces that was grea
