Le Languedoc Bistro

Amazing experience! With a hand on my heart, i will say that this is one of the best tasting foods that i tried on the island. The place is cozy. Vybe is a traditional Nantucket style . Place is known mostly with owder crowd (50+). We were wondering for a  wild if we would actually fit in this place because we are pretty young for there, and we do fit great. We are foodies, and we were in on a search for good food and dissent service. The food was amazing. Every single thing/dish that we tried was delicious. They do not have a coctail menu, but they were able to make us what we wanted. Desserts were also delicious. The service was great. Prices were also great. Definitely place that deserves to be visited more often .

Great place in Nantucket with authentic southern French cuisine. Came here with my wife and my in-laws and was not disappointed in the least. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating considering we did not have any reservations, and even gave us free wine and dessert dishes ! The duck confit was delicious, and the steak fries was a favourite as well. Would definitely recommend and it was such a pleasure coming!

Le Languedoc Bistro is a cute and unique french restaurant. The Cheese soufflé melts in your mouth and is worth to try. I really like its soft shell crabs for which I would visit this restaurant again. But I do not like its lobster bisque: I could not find lobster meat in the soup and the herbal taste is too strong. In general, lobster bisque is my favorite and I have had it multiple times while I am traveling in Maine.

Great food and amazing atmosphere. Cozy bar where you can eat dinner as well. Get the clams to start and I had the sea scallops. The burger is crazy good as well. Follow me on instagram @acknatural for more Nantucket.

We’re hurried to put entire order in at once. Lobster bisque was thin and cold. Wedge salad was the only decent item we ordered. Old fashioned were mainly bourbon. No flair. Worst was tough , cold chicken with undercooked peas. Just awful.
