We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Brass Lantern in November 2025. Our room was exceptionally clean, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfasts and as always appreciate the variety and freshness of all items. Of course we also enjoy the warm cookies in the afternoon and fresh fruit selection available all day (perfect anytime but especially for November days after some long treks across the island ). The Innkeeper, Sharon, is simply one of the best. Thank you again Sharon and the Brass Lantern Team, we are already looking forward to our next stay. (J&C R).

We chose The Brass Lantern for our family stay to attend our niece’s wedding. We filled 7 of the rooms. The rooms were lovely and each unique. The breakfast room and the lovely courtyard allowed the group to gather. The breakfasts were delicious and personal and the afternoon cookies a great hit with our group. The location was wonderful. Sharon and the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. We felt extremely well cared for.I would certainly love to stay there again.

We love the Brass Lantern. Everything, from room to service to comfort level to location is perfect. While breakfast offerings are wonderful, eggs, even hard boiled, would be a welcomed addition. While the rooms and amenities are no frills, the price is right and everything was A+ and perfect for our needs. Don’t get me wrong, this place is not the white elephant, is not waterfront, offers no restaurants or shops. Sharon, the innkeeper is friendly, knowledgeable and amazing. While the inn does offer first floor rooms, rooms on the second floor, requires walking up, fairly narrow steps with a turn. We will look forward to return to the Brass Lantern for the fall Albie run.

Sharon at the Brass Lantern Inn created the most warm and welcoming atmosphere. We visited Nantucket for Stroll, and our lodging could not have been more conveniently located. From the cookies to the tea... From the roaring fireplace to the lending umbrellas... we had everything we could have possibly needed. The other guests were friendly as well. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Brass Lantern Inn to any Nantucket visitor!

We just returned from our annual Nantucket Christmas trip and our third year in a row at The Brass Lantern. The inn is lovely, rooms clean and comfortable, and little touches like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are always available as well as fresh cookies every afternoon. Innkeeper Sharon sees to every detail… she’s the best! We are always pleased with our stay, and will return every year.
