Laurel Manor House Bed and Breakfast

When we heard that our favorite Bed and Breakfast was closing ... we just HAD to make a reservation. Fortunately, we got a room.|And just as our other stays, the comfortable room, the delicious breakfast, and the gracious hosts made our stay the time away relaxful.|We'll miss the Laurel Manor House Bed and Breakfast. And the best of wishes as Lisa and Dave find new joys being closer to family.

This was our second visit to Laurel Manor House Bed and Breakfast. Both times we stayed in the Sycamore room. Lisa and Dave are very welcoming and I felt very much at home throughout our 4-night stay. They gave us suggestions for sites to visit based on our interests. The house is beautifully decorated with many antiques, but the rooms have all the modern conveniences we expect. We were so impressed by the bathroom in our room that we took measurements and photos so that we can renovate our home bathroom in a similar way. When we stayed last time, in March 2023, it was cool enough that we used the gas fireplace in our room one evening. This time, being August, we used the ceiling fan to maintain comfort. The bed was very comfortable, with both firm and soft pillows, two of each. T

A beautiful and unique house built in 1888, it will give you the feel of something classic with the luxury of modern amenities. Run by a kind and welcoming couple, Lisa makes an incredible breakfast and is a wonderful resource for local information. She will make you feel right at home with cookies and beverages. We stayed in The Dogwood room and the extremely plush king size bed will give you a great night’s sleep. The large private bathroom has excellent water pressure and provides an ideal space for pampering yourself. The rest of the house and property are beautifully maintained with a piano, sitting space, adorable indoor garden, and antique details will continue to catch your eye. The Laurel Manor House exceeded my extremely high expectations in every way! From the beautiful rooms to the wonderful breakfasts provided, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are very particular when it comes to cleanliness and Lisa was leaps and bounds above anywhere else we have stayed over the years. Small details (homemade Ginger Snaps, coffee and tea available at any time, game room for family time, and the softest sheets!) made our stay feel like we were royalty! So impressed! The Everetts were so very hospitable and lovely to chat with. We look forward to staying again in the near future!

From arrival through departure, Owners (Lisa & Dave) provide an unparalleled, exemplary experience! The B&B is impeccably clean, furnished, and decorated beautifully throughout! I enjoyed a bed, pillows, bed linens, and a bathroom that all looked and felt *new during my stay in the Willow room, and met other guests who shared same experience in the other 2 rooms! Breakfast each morning was when I (and other guests) wanted it ~ scratch-made organic, fresh, and delicious!
