LaScala's FIRE

So I had the lobster ravioli. It was so freaking good definitely a favorite then my mom got lasagna and my dad got some type of meat sandwich. It seemed like our server was super nice, I would definitely get the lobster ravioli again. It was so not only he was like really, really good but the texture of it was really good and it had some sweetness to it. It was really very good too. We got something called cheesecake it was OK not very good. It tastes a little bit like orange but it looks more like cake and it wasn’t really that good. I would definitely not get but cheesecake again it wasn’t good at all, we also got calamari, it was good but a bit too oily, nice place, they have good food.

Ahhhhh!! So this was a random find honestly. We were looking for a place in the area to have dinner before a movie and I was like hey let’s give this one a try. They did NOT disappoint. The arancini was incredible! The meatballs were fine, I don’t think I’d order them again, they just were too much breadcrumb for me. But the salad and the pizza…amazing. My boyfriend ordered one of the sandwiches and that also looked very good and he enjoyed it! I will definitely be back! There were so many pizza options I wanted to try!

Great quality food for the price. Good size portions wishing I had more to reheat at home. Our server was lackluster, but looking forward to going again for the food.

The server my table had was very courteous but the rest of the staff were mostly high school/college age kids who seemed like they didn't understand they were at work. One guy was walking around with a piece of food he was eating with his hands and it took me a second to realize he was a staff member. The guys carrying food had their thumbs sticking inside the bowls and plates, touching the food inside. It would be a lot more sanitary if they would just use trays or hold the bowls from the bottom, as they do in most other places that serve food. The food was pretty disappointing. The wrapper of the cheesesteak eggrolls was so tough, which is frustrating since they are so easy to properly prepare. The filling was way too salty. This was my first time at Lascala’s in Upper Dublin and will definitely be back. Our server Nicole was excellent! She was extremely attentive and very friendly. We had the meatballs, calamari, Brussel sprouts, and lobster ravioli (valentines special). The door was delicious and came out very quickly. The cookie skillet dessert was also delicious. Highly recommend the restaurant and Nicole for a server.
