Las Trancas

We ordered to go and they sent my son with the wrong meal. He got all the way home and it was wrong. We called, they said to come back. I called back just to make sure my food would be fresh because it had now been an hour. The manager not only laughed, he told me to text him a picture to make sure I wasn’t lying. I texted that number! He hung up on me 3 times! He continued to laugh at me. Needless to say, I never got my food and he laughed when I asked for a refund. I have never experienced anything like this, ever!

Mar 9. 3 PM, Had Fajitas, meat was very dry, maybe reheated??; and Smothered shredded beef burrito, beef was tasteless, didn't even finish it. The red sauce was tasteless like from a can or bag. Food NOT worth the price. Definitely will not return.

Rice and beans were good. Chila-quilas was very very soggy, no flavor, menudo had a funky smell too it... Instead of onions they gave us a little baggie of cabbage which was weird .. i thought it came with onions, oregano, maybe some lime, and then too top it off they gave two smashed pieces of bread like if someone stomped on them.. all this for 58 dollars.. and then we asked them for some chips and salsa but they charge for that too.... WHAT??? Las Trancas has changed... I remember it being excellent.... Seems as though they have gotten lazy... So sad..

My friend ordered a chile relleno plate with no tomatoes. The waiter did not write down our order, just repeated it back to us. When our food came they gave him a tamale plate. We told him it was wrong when we realized. The waiter immediately said "No, you ordered tamales, I heard it. He reluctantly took the food away while saying he was going to ask if they would fix it. He came back a few minutes later with the same plate of food and said management would not correct the order because the waiter swears he heard tamale plate and repeated it back to us, which he did, twice. "Relleno plate with no tomatoes" is what he repeated back to us. Write it down because you need to! So sad. Never again!

Delicious food. Very authentic. They have several tv to watch football. The albondigas is so wonderful. It reminds us of our grandmother's recipe. The menudo is all you can eat and so yummy. You can get it with posole.
