K-Bowl

After traveling for about a week, our family was really craving Korean food, and K Bowl near New Mexico State University was exactly what we needed. We were traveling with our kids and Grandma, and it was a great spot for all of us. We ordered the chicken, beef, and pork, and every dish was delicious and tasted homemade. We’ve been full before on this trip from BBQ, Mexican food, and other options, but this was a different kind of full—truly satisfying, if you know what I mean. If you’re near NMSU and craving Korean food, I highly recommend K Bowl. It’s the kind of meal that reminds you why certain foods just feel right.

The food is delicious. The prices are great. They added shrimp. The girl said I was the first one to order it today. It was very good nice and spicy. Definitely will get it again.

We decided to give K-Bowl a try in Las Cruces this weekend. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, the beef bulgogi bowl was excellent. You have a choice of a base, I chose white rice, the meat (i.e., beef, chicken or spicy pork), and your choice of 3 vegetables. You get charged extra if you choose more than 3, as I found out. We also had an order of mandu. They burnt the edges a little bit, but they were still very tasty and almost as good as I used to get when I lived in S. Korea. I will definitely eat here again.

Great place to enjoy authentic Korean food. It’s a build-your-own-bowl cuisine, simple and delicious. Select the base, such as rice or noodle or half for both, four sides, and your choice of meat! (1) I loved the noodle (japchae) because it’s very springy and absorb the flavor of the meat! (2) The spicy pork was very savory and tender. Highly recommend it! (3) The beef was also good but I preferred the pork as it’s more flavorful. My Korean bf enjoys it a lot too.

This is a great place to come if you are craving Japchae, kimchi and beef bulgolgi. Think of it as a korean poke bowl or quality korean food to go. Lovely quaint seating area. It appears to be run by a family which is a win in my book. Support local peeps come here to eat.
