LaRue County Public Library

Much superior in every way to Hardin Co library. More selection, better play place.

Went to a painting class here and the teacher was amazing, very sweet, friendly & all together had a good vibe. Everything was going very smooth, and then all of the sudden one of the employees rudely told everyone we had to get out. Don’t have a painting class if there’s is an exact time everyone must leave. Needless to say, I will be attending another class of Bowerbird painting... but not at this library!

LaRue County Public Library lives up to the honored status of Public Library. Resources for folks of all ages and walks of life. New building is very accessible, lots of parking, computer terminals for adults and children. Lots of great activities and events in the library, the community room and occasional off campus events. Proud to have my tax dollars support my library.

This library was very modern and new with updated everything. The staff was completely friendly and helpful. I found books of newspapers covering so many decades and historical everything! One of the best libraries I've been to.

A nice quiet place and lots of reading on the shelf! Found the book I was wanting in 2 minutes, All of the different titles and any other media is well organized and easy to locate. All the staff are excellent and willing to assist you
