LaRosa's Pizza Newport

I loved the stuffed crust pizza. Really great to dip the slices. Really delicious cheeses. (meats & vegetables too) Wonderful tastes all through the pie. Friendly, perfect App ordering & pick-up. Great stuff.

Thus deserved a review. I've been here for almost a year on a travel assignment and everytime, I have yet to have the wrong order. Being from Wisconsin we have Rocky's and this is as close as it gets to home especially their pizza dipping sauce. They have cheese sauce! and it's different, but in a good way. I can't explain it. Lately their cookies seemed over baked to me so I decided to call and see if theh can cut the time down just a tad bit. And they absolutely delivered! Which is why I'm writing this. Honestly, I should've written a review a long time ago but I usually smash their pizza and by that time, I'm fully, tired and satisfied hahaha and completely forget. To the woman on the phone, Catherine? Cassandra? Whomever worked the night of 12/5/25 at 815pm she deserves a raise! Great

We go into the restaurant which is newly remodeled is very bright and the art is is advertising designed to buy beer. The digital plaid is just not a good look either it was very cold and uninviting. Our appetizer the cheesy flatbread came out very crisp but edible, but the garlic butter we paid for was not the sealed cup per usual but a half filled 2 ounce plastic cup. Our food then came out which was a pizza half sausage and pepperoni and half Cap ham onion and sausage but it was burnt. So we sent it back which is also uncomfortable for the customer to do. When our replacement came who we assume was the manager brought and asked if it looked better but held it so high we could not see it so at least it did not look burnt. honestly i had a pretty bad day and just wanted to treat myself after work so i paid $15 for this pizza that was supposed to be cute and heart shaped. as you can see its neither and there was barely any pepperoni under the cheese :( needless to say this was my last straw lmao

My pizza was a hour and a half to get when I was told thirty minutes. I ordered at 5:32. I called at 6:15 and was told it’ll be there in a minute or two so I waited another twenty minutes and I called back and I talked to a supervisor and he called the Newport Kentucky location to see what was the issue. He then called me back to say they got busy and our pizza just came out the oven. My pizza then took another twenty to twenty five minutes to get and when I got it it was cold and nasty and the garlic bread was literally pieces of bread with a piece of cheese on it that was not good either. I told the supervisor that I was going to get online and write a bad review all he said was “have a good night”, and hung up on me instead of trying to make things right. I’ll never eat at LaRosa’s pizz
