Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria

I definitely see why the ratings are as high as they are. I really enjoyed Strong's. The food was very good and came out very quickly after ordering. I got a jalapeno pizza with the spicy red sauce and my wife got the Quattro pizza. Delicious. Service was very good as well. Say at the inside bar area. It is small, but there seemed to be other seating areas, so that's good. We'll be back, for sure.

I have never written a review before, but had to for this place. Hands down the best food I have ever had. Meatballs are absolutely delicious, pizza is so good. They were cautious with my wifes gluten free allergies. The outside seating was wonderful too. The server Nick was very friendly and as busy as it was, he stayed on top of the tables made sure everyone was taken care of. Anyone who says the food or service is bad, is either a hater or a liar. Will definitely be back.

When we first arrived, we told the owner we had a party of 5 in our party- he grunted and looked irritated. We just laughed and still waited 45 minutes for a table. Pizza maker was engaging and spoke of the history of the place which was fun. Once we were seated the drinks and food came rather quickly. Waiter was attentive. The other owner came to chat and told us more fun history. Pizza, salads, and cannoli were amazing. Totally worth the wait.

10/10 experience. Staff was SO nice and the wait was very short. I absolutely LOVED their decorations on their outdoor patio. We got their spinach and artichoke dip and some Bianca 3 cheese pizza. I gotta say the Bianca pizza was so delicious and the cheese was creamy and not a bit grainy. Honestly, this is the best pizza place to go to in the area if you want cheap and delicious pizza with all fresh ingredients.

If you want the best pizza ever! Strong’s Newport is the place for you!! What’s even better is they have the best GLUTEN FREE CRUST EVER! What makes these pizzas the best?? First off the ingredients are of excellent quality and dough and sauces are handmade! But more importantly it is very evident that these pies are made out of pure joy and love! Spend just 5 minutes with the owners Steve and Cindy and you will see exactly why I say that! They view this quaint, historical building that hosts the making of these “Love” pies as an extension of their home. When you come here to dine, the hospitality is generous and you leave feeling like family! FYI, I a have Celiac and feel extremely safe eating here. They have always gone above and beyond for me!
