I wish I took a picture of this insane burger, but I only have the picture of the sign promoting it. The burger was so irresistible that I housed it before I even considered the need to share how great it is with others. This was one of the single best smash burgers I have ever eaten. The pan de sal bun was beautifully roasted but still springy and steamy. The Wagyu beef had a great char on it and was smothered in onions and melty cheese. The crispy lettuce and pickles brought the whole thing together. Wow, what a burger! They also have great Filipino-inspired sandwiches, drinks, and confections. The Lapu Lapu Smashburger is delicious!! Perfectly cooked and presented. Two Wagyu beef patties, cheese, grilled onions and pickles on pan de sal. The calamansi refreshers were perfect! We had one with strawberry and one with a combo of passion fruit and strawberry. If you love a great burger, you will not be disappointed here!

Every time I go back here it's so delicious! So far, I've had the chorizo, paksiw, and bistek (plus my friend's smash burger). The chorizo/longanisa and bistek are my top two, but they're all absolutely wonderful. It's the soft-scrambled egg with the great seasoning on the meat and delicious house sauce! I want to try every item on their menu eventually. The only problem is that I'm so full after eating their sandwiches and Parmesan tots that I can't order their ube soft serve. I can't recommend this spot enough for all of the Filipino breakfast sandwiches I've tried so far. I love that they stay open late so that I can have breakfast for dinner. Looking forward to trying their new burrito soon too!

Lapu Lapu recently opened its doors in Pentagon City, and it's a must-visit for anyone craving Filipino-inspired breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and desserts. We savored the Corned Beef and Chorizo sandwiches, both served on delicious Pan De Sal buns with juicy patties that were phenomenal. The pastries and lattes from Gwenie’s were nothing short of fantastic. We enjoyed freshly baked treats paired with a rich Spanish Latte and a vibrant Matcha Strawberry Latte. Absolutely love Lapu Lapu , the food is delicious, my fave is the bistek, most recently tried the Lapu Smash which was well seasoned and flavorful. The lumpia and ube ice cream are also a must. Always hits!! The staff are all very nice as well and service is pretty quick. Shout out to the manager Maggie, I went with my family and her kindness and hospitality made the experience even better and memorable. Definitely recommend, gone several times and it never disappoints.
