We LOVE Lantern Donuts! So grateful for a delicious treat that is organic and seed oil free! I love that I don’t have to worry about my kids having these occasionally, because there are no dyes, HFCS, or seed oils. Plus, they are SO DANG DELICIOUS! I love how creative their flavors are. Plus they do the traditional flavors SO WELL. Their maple donut is a MUST HAVE. So so good, you can tell they used real maple syrup in the icing. My husband, who is a coffee snob, also enjoys their coffee and has bought their beans for making espresso at home several times. This is a must try in Coeur d’Alene!

Absolutely fantastic experience! I’m not a huge fan of donuts, so it’s hard to impress me, but these were unbelievably good. My husband, who has tried more donuts than I can count, even said these are “the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life.” The owners are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the place. You can truly tell how much care, effort, and pride they put into both their shop and their food. You can definitely tell they’re made from scratch using organic, local, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The donuts taste light, fresh, and perfectly balanced, not heavy or greasy, so you can enjoy every bite and actually feel good about it. Hands down the best donuts in North Idaho. If you’re in downtown C

Kevin was exceptional, came here with my family yesterday after a much anticipated wait! We drove about 40min to get here and my husband called to make sure they would have some donuts left & Kevin set some aside for us just in case. The location downtown is super easy to find & will do so awesome in the coming months. He walked us through the menu and explained the seasonal rotation (which we love as foodies!) We ordered almost one of everything but the stand outs were easily the Lemon & Matcha WOW. As a bakery owner & foodie this place was great, sounds like they’re working on some seating and a relaxing setup soon! Big congrats to the team & owners here and we all can’t wait to support you!

These might be the best donuts I’ve ever had! When you use organic ingredients, nothing artificial (color, flavor, etc) and fry in coconut oil… the result is perfection! I love the rotating flavors and the classics. I’ve been a fan since day 1 and I can’t wait for the seating area to be in full operation!

These are the best donuts I've ever had. I've been dying to try a creme brulee donut but have never seen any in this area. I saw a random ad on social media for Lantern Donuts and saw they had a creme brulee one I freaked out! I figured they would sell out before I could get to there so I scheduled a door dash order. If you need a pick me up, schedule a donut delivery for the morning. I promptly forgot about the delivery until they arrived (notifications went to my husband). It was the best "surprise" lol. We ordered Creme Brulee of course, Sweet Chocolate, Sweet & Salty(brown butter vanilla) and Butterscotch and Chocolate. My favorite was the creme brulee with the brown butter vanilla as a close second. I have been craving them ever since and can't wait to visit the shop in person.
