Lake Taco

Some of the best Mexican food around and a lovely atmosphere both in the winter and summer. The burrito was huge and DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I split it and still couldn’t finish. We also got the soup- packed full of flavor as well as meat and beans. This soup will be my new go to for chilly days in the gorge. Will recommend this place over and over. They are so kind and the food is amazing.

This place was very mid. The tortillas were stale and the chips were soggy. The meat and salsa was ok. It was ok. BUT, the tacos were $4.50. The beer was $8 a pint. This place felt more like a tourist trap designed to fleece you than a genuine local spot that I was expecting. The tacos weren’t terrible, but underwhelming for sure. I would not come back here.

What an incredible little gem in Hood River. I got the beef soup (carne in su jugo). It came with tortillas and onions and cilantro. Size small was actually a huge portion, bowl filled to the brim. The salsa was amazing. My only complaint is that I didn’t order potato chips to eat with the salsa. I was full anyhow! My friend Seth got a giant burrito and said it was the best he ever had.

Small family run business so be patient with orders can get busy. The food was good and tasted fresh.

Absolutely loved the food , drinks and service here! This is definitely a hidden gem 💎 we got fish tacos (best ones I’ve ever had) ❤️❤️❤️ , asada burrito (it was sooo big) and a chicken taco. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food I definitely recommend this place!
