Love & Hominy

In October 2023, the four of us—dad, mom, me, and mom’s mom—stopped at Love & Hominy Tacos in Hood River for lunch. The casual, welcoming atmosphere made it easy for all of us to relax and enjoy our meal. The tacos were flavorful and fresh, with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options for anyone in the group who preferred them. We also enjoyed some sides like chips and salsa, which were the perfect complement to the tacos. Service was quick, so we didn’t have to wait long for our food, and the downtown location made it easy to continue exploring Hood River afterward. It was a delicious, satisfying, and fun lunch stop for our family outing.

A unique concept to have global tacos - different and tasty. We got a Vietnamese, Tex-mex and Thai tacos, some chips and hot sauce. The Vietnamese was our favorite. Margaritas were good. Staff were super friendly. Seating was an issue mainly because a large group showed up at the same time and occupied multiple tables.

First off the vibe is immaculate!!! With that out of the way the food is well thought out and the layers of flavor are something out of this world. We talked with the owner Shaeda, and one of the employees Jada, and they were both amazing and chill to talk to. I will ALWAYS come here on my way through!!!20/10 MIND BLOWN!!! Update came back by on our way home and... DAMN STILL MIND BLOWING AND EVERYONE IS AMAZING!!!

Go here! The tacos were so good, both my bf and I were blown away. I'm always happy when I find an actually good, not to mention unique, vegan taco. Be sure to check out the bathroom wallpaper while you're there 😉.

The 4 of us (my husband & I and our son and his girlfriend)had just about all their tacos with shrimp & we ate them all! I had a very tasty frozen margarita and my husband a good can of beer. It’s a fun spot right on oak street and truly any type of food (vegetarian or vegan) have so many options!
