Lakay Buffet

The customer service was 100/10 the food was 1000/10. I drove 30 minutes for this food and it was the best Haitian food I’ve ever had. The griot was tender, flavorful and fried to perfection. The fish pattie was phenomenal! The black rice perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will be back again.

Not sure how they get 4.8 star. I bought food there twice and both time very disappointing. The first time was rice, legume and bulèt, I couldn’t even force myself to eat the bulèt. I order a platter of Fritay, God it was awful. Everything. The marinad taste terrible. The Accra does not taste like Accra and it is not soft. The Accra and the marinad almost taste the same. The pikliz was not spicy at all and was just onion and bell pepper. Was of 50$

The food was the delicious and the service was excellent! They were so attentive. The friend meatballs and fried fish were my favorite.

I like the food here. I've been here a few times. Never had any problem with my food. Not over or under seasoned. I usually get the turkey wings or the chicken in the sauce, with white rice or rice & beans, with a side of mac & cheese. The only thing I would suggest is going when the first open up at 11 if you can. They can get busy and the food goes quick.

Two stars for the atmosphere, very cute and intimate in there, the food however was not the best i ordered griot I’m not sure if it was even griot. The meat was old, hard and chewy! Very disappointing after i traveled for that. They keep their sides out in the open buffet style when you walked in i wasn’t a fan of that either. Looking for some food griot? Go to fancy buffet!
